How to Survive a Catastrophe
Peter Wade writes "There is no shortage of catastrophes in the world at this time: famine, earthquakes, industrial accidents, air crashes, wars, assassinations -- the list is almost endless. And on a personal level there are sickness and disease, lost jobs, divorces, car accidents, death of loved ones -- and the list is again almost endless. "
Peter Wade writes "Recently I came across these positive words in my reading: "I choose to concentrate on the potential of God's perfection within each of us, rather than to concentrate on ways in which we may have missed the mark of His perfection." That statement flows right along with the emphasis of our positive ministry. "
Why Pray When You Can Worry?
Peter Wade writes "The truth is that some people get more satisfaction out of worry than they do out of prayer. But of course that is not true in a positive church such as yours! "
Christ Is My Supply
Peter Wade writes "Jesus Christ, the miracle worker, is my supply, and abundance overflows into every area of my life."
Stop The World -- I Want To Get Off!
Peter Wade writes "The above catchy phrase is taken from the title of a play that was popular overseas a few decades ago. It reminds us all of those times when we would like to end it all. We say, "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. Stop the world -- I want to get off!""
Peter Wade writes "The Bible works for those who believe it will. Every time you read a verse, and meditate on it, God will make some aspect of it come alive to you. This is why the Bible is described in Hebrews 4:12 as "living and active". And it is! "
Our Daily Walk
E.W. Kenyon writes "The Father desires to have an intimate place in our every day life; not shut out six days of the week, but with us all through our waking moments, a part of everything that we do, a part of all we say. Really a part of all we are."
Peter Wade writes "One of the marvels of this world that intrigued me as a high-school student was machines which appeared to operate by perpetual motion. The concept is that a machine, once started, would work continuously without the need for any further input of energy. "
You Can Begin Again
Peter Wade writes "Today is an exciting day, for God has given you an opportunity to begin again! When you first became a Christian, a New Creation in Christ, God made "all things become new" in your life (II Corinthians 5:17)."
God Keeps On Giving
Peter Wade writes ""You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing" (Psalm 145:16). God's hand is ever open toward you! David's Psalm of praise quoted above, is proof of a bountiful God. "
